Skippers
Our skippers have years of experience fishing the banks and reefs in Mossel Bay and surrounding areas and have a great passion and knowledge of the ocean. No need to have any experience, our team will provide you with all the assistance in helping you land that big one.
Fishing Trip
We operate on a daily basis and offer morning and afternoon trips… either half day or full day. We leave early in the morning for our fishing trips. All trips are weather permitting and scheduled on sea conditions. The launch is safe and dry.
Equipment and Safety
Our team is proud of our customer service and will make your experience with us relaxing and memorable. The vessel is geared with High-tech navigation equipment. All needed fishing gear and tackle will be provided and we only use quality Shimano fishing equipment. We are SAMSA safety registered and have a 100% safety record and with the great assistance of our crew even ladies and small kids can have a chance of catching that big one.
Fish to Catch/species
We offer bottom fishing and trawling for game fish like Tuna, Yellow tail, Bonito and Skipjack when in season. Mossel Bay is well known for fish catches of big Cob and Hake, but there is a big variety of reef fish/bottoms that we target. Well known species are Santer, Red Roman, Dageraad, Red Stompneus (Miss Lucy) Yellow belly Rock Cod, Mosselkraker, Grunters, Hake and Shad/Elf. It is not only the large fish that make a fishermen proud, but also the chance to catch several species is satisfactory.
What to Bring
Nothing needs to be taken onboard except your own personal stuff like camera, suntan lotion, hat and warm clothing, snacks and refreshments and sea sickness pills. Fishing licence is required and can be obtained from any Post Office.
Bookings are essential!!! Deep Sea Fishing is in great demand and you need to book in advance to ensure you have a seat.
